Volvo Car South Africa (VCSA) has opened two new facilities after the restructuring process of its dealer network.
The two new facilities are located in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape and Mbombela in Mpumalanga.
Tom Campher Volvo Cars Gqeberha provides full sales and service support to the Eastern Cape, including a dedicated multi-car transporter for convenient vehicle collection and delivery. In Mpumalanga, Produkta Volvo Cars Mbombela provides comprehensive after-sales support, ensuring Volvo owners have access to premium care and maintenance close to home.
In Gqeberha, Volvo has partnered with Tom Campher Motors, a family-run business that has been synonymous with the Swedish automaker for over five decades. Located in the William Moffett Retail Park, Tom Campher Volvo Cars Gqeberha is easily accessible for Volvo customers.
The dealership operates as a full-service centre supporting customers throughout Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth), East London, George, Plettenberg Bay, Port Alfred and surrounding areas. A dedicated multi-car transporter ensures convenient collection and delivery for vehicles requiring service.
“Volvo has been part of our family’s story for decades, and we’re proud to bring their renowned standards to the Eastern Cape,” commented Vic Campher, Managing Director of Tom Campher Motors. “Our team is committed to ensuring every Volvo owner in this region feels fully supported.”
In Mpumalanga, Produkta Volvo Cars Mbombela offers service support, providing Volvo owners throughout the province with expert maintenance, repairs and care. “We understand how important it is for our customers to have access to convenient, premium support close to home,” said Grant Locke, Managing Director of VCSA.
“These new facilities in Gqeberha and Mbombela reflect our commitment to strengthening our presence in South Africa, and we will continue to look at opportunities to grow our dealer network,” he says.
Volvo says that through these dealerships and service points, VCSA continues to expand its footprint and provide customers with a premium, end-to-end ownership experience across sales and after-sales.
Stellantis is in the process of appointing dealerships within the group, which will also have the Leapmotor brand from China as part of the existing brands already in its network across South Africa
UD Trucks Southern Africa, in partnership with the Fuzion Motor Group, opened two new fully equipped dealerships in the Western Cape: one in Vredenburg on the West Coast and another in Swellendam.
BB Group says its UD Truck dealership in Polokwane is the largest representing the brand in Limpopo and has a rich history of partnership and community impact.
