Mazda Southern Africa announced the addition of two new dealer groups to its national after-sales network, strengthening customer convenience and service support across key regions.
Mazda SA says it welcomes Morgan Mazda Welkom as an authorised service agent. Previously operating under a different dealer group, the Welkom dealership now forms part of Group Morgan. This appointment reinforces Mazda's presence in the Welkom area, ensuring that customers continue to receive the high levels of care and service.
Mazda SA says Halfway Mazda in Port Shepstone has also been appointed as an authorised service agent. The Halfway Group, well regarded for its customer-centric approach, will now service Mazda owners across the South Coast region of KwaZulu-Natal. The Port Shepstone dealership will provide complete after-sales support for Mazda vehicles within this area of responsibility.
These appointments form part of Mazda South Africa’s broader service network strategy aimed at enhancing customer access, reinforcing after-sales care and ensuring consistent delivery of Omotenashi – Mazda’s human-centric hospitality philosophy – across the country.
“Our dealer partners play a vital role in ensuring that all Mazda owners receive the care, expertise and attention they deserve,” says Bonite van der Merwe, Managing Director of Mazda Southern Africa.
“Expanding our service network through trusted and customer-focused groups like Morgan and Halfway allows us to enhance convenience and uphold the high standards of quality that define the Mazda brand in South Africa,” she says.
Dealership service departments know the pattern: the moment warranties and service plans expire; a portion of owners quietly migrate to the independent aftermarket.
Mercedes-Benz Vans South Africa announced its top-performing Agents and Dealers for 2025, recognising their exceptional dedication, customer service and commitment to the brand.
In today’s automotive retail environment, where new vehicle prices keep climbing beyond the reach of many consumers, used vehicles have become the backbone of dealership profitability.
