Top Stellantis award goes to Westvaal Paarl

Stellantis South Africa celebrated the performance of its dealer network, ranking winners across seven categories and for each of the brands during its Dealer of the Year awards.

The event aims to celebrate the top dealers' unrelenting commitment to excellence and extraordinary contributions to the Stellantis brand. “It is important to celebrate each dealer’s dedication to customer satisfaction, brand focus and business achievement,” says Stellantis South Africa Managing Director, Mike Whitfield.

In the much sought-after Dealer of the Year title, coming from the land of diamonds, Molapo Motors Gaborone in Botswana, shone bright in the rural category. In the urban category, Westvaal Paarl took the prize, and for the metros, Key Pinetown was the top dealer.

Elevating itself to the top step of the podium, the overall Stellantis Dealer of the Year award went to Westvaal Paarl. An exceptional performance by Heinro Schamrel, Heinrich Prinsloo, Willie Kriek and their leadership team, Westvaal Paarl achieved four wins for the night, endorsing their hard work, dedication and commitment to the Stellantis brands.

Stellantis overall Dealer of the Year award - Charl Timms (Stellantis Commercial Director), Ernst Dornbrack (DP Westvaal Paarl), and Mike Whitfield (Stellantis South Africa, Managing Director).

Under the leadership of Hilton Cook, Zhai Auto George took the prestigious award of Top Service Dealer of the Year in the rural category. For the metro category, Westvaal Paarl took top prize followed by Key Pinetown in the metro category. Key Pinetown’s Antonio Dos Reis and Paul Emanuel have led their team to exceed customer expectations, cementing their status as the apex of service excellence throughout the Stellantis network. They also took home the Aftersales Quality Dealer of the Year.

Embodying the philosophy of "Customer First", the Sales Quality Dealer of the Year award is to celebrate dealers that ensure customers look forward to their next visit. Led by Graeme Wood, Motus Cargo Bedfordview won this category for the metros. In the urban category, Motus Maemo Rustenburg was honoured, as was Midbay Richards Bay as the best rural dealer.

Motus Cargo Bedfordview demonstrated its commitment to perfection in its achievement as the metro Parts Dealer of the year. Also winning their second accolade, Westvaal Paarl took the award for the urban category and Molapo Motors Gaborone took rural honours.

Tracy Coetzer from Midbay Richards Bay took the New Vehicle Sales Dealer of the Year in the rural category. A fantastic performance in the urban category came from Motus Maemo Rustenburg and the award for metro category dealers went to Motus Cargo Bedfordview.
