Top honours for GWM Haval Edenvale

Top honours were bestowed on a South African Great Wall Motors (GWM) dealership at the recent Shanghai Auto Show in China. GWM Haval Edenvale was awarded the Best Sales Contribution Dealer internationally.

The award was received by Roy Obery, owner and Dealer Principal of GWM Haval Edenvale at the global conference in Shanghai. The dealership also won the 2021 South African Dealer of the Year award.

GWM played host to more than 260 of their distributors from more than 60 countries for their 2023 Global Conference, which carried the theme of “New GWM, New Energy”.

The event was held in Shanghai on 19 April to coincide with Auto Shanghai 2023. During the grand event, President of GWM, Mu Feng, delivered a detailed presentation of the company’s global expansion strategy, which will include a focus on new energy vehicles and be based on the Forest Ecosystem.

Riding on an Intelligent NEV philosophy of “Greener, Higher and Safer” will see the company implement an “One GWM” global single-product strategy, which will enable the company to conduct targeted differentiated planning in the global market and work more seamlessly with their distributors to create more high-quality NEVs for customers.
