Held at The Maslow Time Square in Pretoria, the annual gala event shines a spotlight on the top dealers’ unwavering commitment to excellence and outstanding contributions throughout the year.

The top honours in the category for large dealerships went to Group 1 Renault The Glen, with the medium winner Renault Bruma, while the category for small dealerships was awarded to Auto City Group Renault Heidelberg, and the category for micro dealerships was scooped by Kelston Renault Queenstown.

Dealerfloor approached the four category winners of the Dealer of the Year titles for their reaction, and this is what they had to say:

George Stegmann (Dealer Principal at Group 1 Renault The Glen): “I want to express my gratitude for the award. This award is testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. We are honoured to be recognised as Renault Dealer of the Year and remain committed to going above and beyond for our customers and our community."

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our customers, partners and the entire Renault family for their continued support and trust.”

Albert Grobler Jnr (Dealer Principal at AutoCity Group Renault Heidelberg): “To hear your dealer is a winner is awesome, but difficult to put into words. Winning such a prestigious award is both rewarding for a year’s hard work and also a massive privilege to hold the Dealer of the Year title for a full year.”

Johan van der Merwe (Dealer Principal at Kelston Renault Queenstown): “WoW, what a wonderful feeling seeing Queenstown on the big screen. I was so overwhelmed with emotion that I could put it into words. Bringing the award back to the dealership and getting the entire dealership together and thanking them for what they have done, is truly an honour. The happiness was tangible as the team celebrated together. Thank you Renault SA.”
