Raceview Motors has a rich history stretching back 26 years and it’s known for its large pre-owned car division. A year ago, GAC Motor joined on the new side and now also JMC Motors, Cecilia Ries, Dealer Principal, tells Dealerfloor.
Raceview Motors is part of a larger automotive group in Alberton, owned by brothers Dirk and Nico Grobler.
As part of the Salvador Caetano Group, Raceview Motors continues to expand its footprint. Now representing both GAC Motor and JMC Motors, two global automotive brands known for their innovation, performance and reliability, Cecilia tells us.
“Our journey with GAC has been nothing short of incredible. One year later, we’re not only celebrating the success of a premium brand that continues to impress South African motorists, but we’re also expanding our horizons with JMC Motors, marking the beginning of another exciting chapter for our dealership and our customers,” Cecilia says.
“Conveniently located in the Alberton CBD, the dealership and service centre are easily accessible from all major routes. The facility features six fully equipped workshop bays, operated by a team of highly skilled technicians.
“This year, Raceview Motors celebrates 26 years as a family-run business, a milestone that underscores its deep community roots and long-standing commitment to customer satisfaction. On average, the dealership delivers around 140 vehicles a month, a testament to its trusted reputation in the South African automotive landscape,” Cecilia says.
In October 2025, GAC Alberton hosted the Willem Botha MasterClass Event, drawing over 300 guests in a vibrant celebration of the dealership’s first year with GAC Motor.
