Orbit honoured on the global stage

On this occasion, all top‑performing dealers and/or general distributors from the various Daimler Truck regions are recognised for their achievements in the previous year.

DTO through the Elite Club Awards, now in its 3^rd year running celebrates the cream of the crop, highest-performing dealer partners across all regions.

This year, Orbit Commercial Vehicles is once again at the forefront of the global awards for the Southern African region, having also taken home the overall DTSA 2025 Dealer of the Year Award earlier in March.

Maretha Gerber (President and Group CEO of Daimler Truck Southern Africa says Orbit Commercial Vehicles Cape Town continues to set the standard for excellence within their network. “Achieving Dealer of the Year for the fourth time is a remarkable milestone and a clear reflection of the team’s unwavering commitment, consistency and passion for delivering outstanding results.

“We are equally proud that Cornel and Brett represented our region at the recent Elite Class Awards, held in Sölden, Austria, where their exceptional contributions were recognised on a prestigious global stage,” she says.

Cornel Oelofse Cornel Oelofse (Franchise Executive: Orbit Commercial Vehicles) says their goal has never been to win awards, it’s to build a business that attracts customers and keeps them forever.

Orbit Commercial vehicles wass also held the titles for topdealership in 2021, 2022 and 2024 and now again for 2026.
