A total of 21 winners received awards at the Mercedes-Benz Vans Agent and Dealer of the Year ceremony. The manufacturer also celebrated record-breaking worldwide sales and excellent local results.

The highlight of the event was the acknowledgment of two Chairman’s Award recipients, recognising the outstanding achievements of the Best Overall Agent and Dealer of the Year.
In the face of numerous obstacles and unexpected challenges throughout 2023, both on the international stage and within the local market, Mercedes-Benz Vans demonstrated remarkable resilience in South Africa. Notably, Mercedes-Benz Vans SA maintained their market leadership across their product portfolio’s respective segments.
Particularly, the Mercedes-Benz Vito showcased exceptional performance, with a 28.5% year-on-year growth in retail sales. Beyond retail sales, the service and parts division exhibited remarkable growth, achieving an excellent 12.4% increase in revenue. This success was largely driven by a 125% uptake in service contracts, highlighting Mercedes-Benz Vans’ commitment to fostering long-term customer relationships.
