In the face of numerous obstacles and unexpected challenges throughout 2023, both on the international stage and within the local market, Mercedes-Benz Vans demonstrated remarkable resilience in South Africa. Notably, Mercedes-Benz Vans SA maintained their market leadership across their product portfolio’s respective segments.
Particularly, the Mercedes-Benz Vito showcased exceptional performance, with a 28.5% year-on-year growth in retail sales. Beyond retail sales, the service and parts division exhibited remarkable growth, achieving an excellent 12.4% increase in revenue. This success was largely driven by a 125% uptake in service contracts, highlighting Mercedes-Benz Vans’ commitment to fostering long-term customer relationships.
“While 2023 presented the South African market with undeniable challenges, we are proud to have finished the year with commendable annual results. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the dedication and unwavering support of our agents and dealers.
