UD Trucks held its annual Partner Conference in Japan in November 2025, bringing together global partners to celebrate its 90th anniversary. Separately, UD Trucks Southern Africa held its Annual Dealer Conference in Durban earlier this year.

The Partner Conference in Japan offered attendees a unique and immersive experience that showcased the brand’s heritage, excellence and future direction. Partners had the opportunity to explore the Japan Motor Show, visit the state-of-the-art UD Experience Centre and tour the UD Trucks manufacturing plant.
These engagements gave first-hand insights into UD Trucks’ advanced engineering, driver-centric design, including its long-term commitment to sustainable transport solutions.

Nissan South Africa has agreed to sell its Rosslyn production facility after 60 years of operation. Volvo has commenced on-road testing of heavy trucks powered by hydrogen combustion engines. This pioneering solution places Volvo at the forefront of the industry, with commercial launch planned before 2030.
