JLR rewards dealerships for outstanding performance
Jaguar Land Rover South Africa (JLR) held its annual Dealer of the Year awards where the top performing dealerships were rewarded for their achievements for the 2022 financial year.

This year, JLR Hillcrest (SMG motoring group) took top honours at JLR Dealer of the Year pipping last year’s winner, JLR The Glen and JLR Stellenbosch this year’s first runner-up for the number one position.

JLR The Glen (SMH motoring group) returned to the podium to also claim the Customer Service Dealer of the Year award, while JLR East Rand took the Sales Dealer of the Year title.
“The awards recognise JLR dealers who have excelled in driving sales through their actions and work ethic, whilst upholding and representing the stature and ideals of the JLR brands over the past year,” says Viola Rossouw, Network Development and Performance Director at JLR South Africa.

“In addition to sales performance, client experience was a key determining factor in the final rankings as we move towards offering a truly modern luxury experience to our clients throughout the entire ownership journey,” Viola added.
Along with vehicle sales, the top-performing dealers also excelled in various areas, including quality service, process adherence, results of standard audits and feedback from customers. The grand prize – the Dealer of the Year award – recognises the combined overall performance across all departments at the winning dealer.
