The new mega dealership is a unique, stand-alone Isuzu facility located near Cape Gate Mall and Business Park, adjacent to the N1 motorway en route to Stellenbosch in the Western Cape.
Brian continues to serve as Sales Manager at the CFAO Mobility Reeds N1 City dealership, where he oversees the Isuzu brand.
“At present, I am managing operations at N1 City, which will remain an Isuzu dealership, while I am also actively involved in establishing the new site. It is a demanding yet invigorating process that keeps you on your toes and your mind constantly engaged. We are assembling a new team and identifying the right individuals for each role, and this requires careful consideration and attention,” Brian tells Dealerfloor.
“I have been part of the Reeds Motor Group since its days as an independent business. Later we became part of the CFAO Mobility Group, one of the largest automotive groups in the country.
“I have been enthusiastic about the Isuzu brand since my time at General Motors, and I feel privileged to be associated with it. Our new location, situated in a business park alongside several other dealerships, represents a significant step forward in strengthening the brand and enhancing customer service for clients in areas such as Cape Gate, Brackenfell and the surrounding suburbs, as well as the proposed new airport nearby,” he adds.
Brian says that the new dealership will operate on clean energy, with a solar power system supplying all the necessary electricity, and grey water being recycled for suitable uses. “We’re also exploring the development of a 4x4 track at the new facility to showcase and educate customers about the off-road technologies featured in our vehicles.”
He emphasises his commitment to supporting his staff and playing a hands-on role in delivering a first-class customer experience. “Equipping, supporting and assisting the members of our team to excel in their roles is my primary goal. This will be key to our success, and with the backing of CFAO Mobility and a top-tier brand like Isuzu, I am looking forward to welcoming our first customers to the new dealership very soon,” Brian concludes.
A recent webinar hosted by Keyloop explored how the automotive retail sector can adapt to rapid technological change, increasing data complexity and the growing role of artificial intelligence. The session examined how dealers, manufacturers and mobility providers can reduce operational friction while improving customer journeys.
