Bringing together representatives from all dealerships nationwide, the event underlined the brand’s commitment to ensuring every dealer is equipped with the knowledge, tools and confidence to deliver the full Changan experience.

The conference also highlighted the newly unveiled flagship dealership in Pretoria, a cornerstone in Changan’s expanding South African footprint. More than just a showroom, the dealership is designed as a customer-centric hub, showcasing the latest vehicles, advanced service facilities and a new benchmark for the 25-strong dealer network to emulate.

At the heart of the training sessions was one clear message: customer service is Changan’s top priority, the manufacturer claims. Dealers became engaged in workshops covering after-sales support, service quality and in building lasting trust with customers. The training underscored how Driven to Evolve is not only a brand positioning but a promise to deliver world-class service that inspires confidence in every interaction, Changan says.

Changan’s pursuit of excellence is validated on the global stage: since 2018, Changan has consistently been listed in the highest-ranking Chinese domestic brands, according to the JD Power China Initial Quality Study (IQS).

In the 2021 IQS, Changan earned a top-ranking result among independent Chinese automakers. Most recently, in the 2025 China IQS, Changan was once again ranked among the highest scoring domestic brands, reinforcing that fewer reported defects are a direct result of relentless dedication to quality manufacturing.

By investing in its national dealer network, Changan says it ensures South African customers benefit from seamless experiences, wherever they are. “With readiness, expertise and service excellence at the forefront, the conference reaffirmed the brand’s ambition to bring tomorrow’s vehicles to all South Africans.”
