Auto Pedigree facing challenges head-on

Auto Pedigree’s ability to adapt to the ever-changing circumstances in the pre-owned car market – especially these days – plays a decisive role for the business to keep to its commitment of delivering a service of quality, value and choice.

This year marks the group’s 40th anniversary with more than 350 000 vehicles sold during the last four decades. Auto Pedigree is currently represented through 70 branches in all provinces across the country and the group acquires its stock mainly from rental fleets.

“We are proud of our recent progress in establishing Service Centres and will have six in operation by August 1. These centres will not only cater to the needs of our existing customers but will be open to the public, offering minor and major services, repairs and the fitment of accessories,” says Fanie Kleynhans, Managing Director of Auto Pedigree.

When asked about the impact of stock shortages, Fanie says they deal with them the same way they deal with any other business challenge.

“We are an agile business that can adapt and has the flexibility to relocate branches as market conditions dictate. It is an integral part of the way we have always done business.”Fanie tells Dealerfloor.

“Our business model is predominantly selling vehicles with remaining warranties, service or maintenance plans still in place. We sell a wide variety of quality, used, low kilometre vehicles covering all makes and models and welcome all trade-ins.”

In conclusion, Fanie says: “Consumer trust and customer satisfaction through a strong and highly motivated team at each Auto Pedigree branch have been the foundation since the company’s inception 40 years ago.”
