Audi Centre Arcadia scooped up the Dealer of the Year Award for 2022 for the fifth consecutive year, while the Audi Hatfield Group was awarded the Group Dealer of the Year for 2022.

The Audi dealerships were acknowledged for their dedication and performance at the recently held Audi Vorsprung Awards ceremony, previously known as the Audi Silver Arrow Awards.
“Our Dealer Network is a large part of the reason our business continues to improve and grow in the industry. We take this annual opportunity to recognise exceptional contributions and achievements of teams and their top-performing individuals,” says Sascha Sauer, Head of Audi South Africa.
Receiving top honours for the Dealer Group of the Year, for the 11th time, are, Hassan Salie (Head of Audi After Sales & Dealer Development), Karl Lessle (Franchise Director at the Hatfield Group) and Sascha Sauer (Head of Audi South Africa).
The Audi Vorsprung Awards see Audi Dealers compete for recognition among their peers across eight categories within the areas of overall Dealer Business Leadership; New Vehicle Sales; Pre-owned Sales; Service, Parts and Accessories, and Financial Services.
The following awards were announced during the celebrations:
Audi Centre Arcadia received the award for being 2022 Audi Dealer of the Year. This is a remarkable accolade as this Dealer has earned top honours in this category for the fifth consecutive year.
For the fifth consecutive year, Audi Arcadia picked up the top award as Dealer of the Year. Here are Hassan Salie (Head of Audi After Sales & Dealer Development), Phillip Clough (Franchise Director: McCarthy Group & Dealer Principal at Audi Centre Arcadia) and Sascha Sauer (Head of Audi South Africa).
The Hatfield Group was named the 2022 Audi Dealer Group of the Year, an award that requires outstanding performance by every Dealer in the Group against all business indicators.
What makes the award extra special is the fact that it is the 11th consecutive time the Group has won this prestigious award.
Within the other award categories, 40 high-performing individuals across Audi’s national retail network were recognised for the role they played in achieving excellence for the brand and in customer experience in their respective business fields and categories.
“To be recognised by Audi South Africa as the Dealer of the Year for five years in succession is a massive achievement for each team member at Audi Centre Arcadia. The Vorsprung Awards evening was a historical moment for us and is one we will savour forever, as it is a huge honour to receive this award.
Audi dealerships in the Motus Group also performed very well, scooping up various awards. Here are Roelf Marais (Dealer Principal – Audi Centre Sandton), Abdur Mohamed (New Vehicles Sales Executive – Audi Centre Sandton and winner of the New Vehicles Sales Executive of the Year Award), Michael Greyling (Dealer Principal – Audi Centre Vereeniging), Muhammad Rajah (New Vehicles Sales Manager – Audi Centre Vereeniging and winner of the New Vehicles Sales Executive of the Year Award Winner – 1st in Category 3), Reeno Christiaan (Audi Pre-owned Sales Executive – Audi Centre Vereeniging and winner Pre-owned Sales Executive of the Year Award – 1st in Category 3), Belinda Oosthuizen (New Vehicle Sales Executive – Audi Centre Bryanston and winner New Vehicles Sales Executive of the Year Award – 2nd in Category 1) and Bart Hettema (Dealer Principal – Audi Centre Bryanston).
