Audi South Africa celebrated the achievements of their national Dealer Network with the annual Audi Silver Arrow Awards hosted in Stellenbosch.
The award ceremony is named after the famous “Silver Arrow” racing vehicles that dominated the racing circuits in the 1930s, is a representation of the progressive performance in the Audi Dealer Network.
“Performance is what drives Audi forward. Last year presented the perfect field to test our collective performance, yet even at a time where our Dealer Network had been challenged to a great extent, there are those who have shown the passion to perform and rise to the occasion.
“It is inspiring to see the continued commitment across Audi’s Dealer Network to maintain exceptional performance against our awards criteria, while supporting the Audi brand and business strategy,” says Sascha Sauer, Head of Audi South Africa.
The Silver Arrow Awards see Audi Dealers compete for recognition amongst their peers across eight different categories within the areas of overall Dealer Business Leadership; New Vehicle Sales; Pre-owned Sales, Service, Parts and Accessories and Financial Services.
Audi Centre Arcadia, who is part of the McCarthy Group, received 2021 Audi Dealer of the Year award with the Hatfield Group achieving the 2021 Audi Dealer Group of the Year.
Within the other award categories, 40 high performing individuals across the national Audi Dealer footprint were recognised for the role that they have played in achieving success for the brand within their respective business fields and categories.
“Just like the legendary Silver Arrow race cars that changed the trajectory of motorsport for the world, we are entering a new era where electric vehicles will define the automotive world of tomorrow. Audi will lead this charge, and we are honoured to have a Dealer Network by our side that lives the ethos of progress and continues to demonstrate ‘Vorsprung’ in all that they do,” Sascha concluded.
Supergroup Dealerships have further expanded their presence in Rustenburg, located in South Africa’s North West province, by adding BAIC to their already diverse portfolio.
