Strong demand drives SA to decade-high vehicle sales
The South African motor industry continues to defy expectations by posting another month of exceptional growth.

Arnold Chatz Cars in Johannesburg will add the remaining volume brands from the Stellantis Group to its showroom floor from July.
                
                                                            The dealer now offers Fiat, Fiat Professional, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroën, Jeep, Opel, Peugeot and MOPAR under one roof.
It will be the first dealer in the South African market and the Supergroup Dealerships network to offer sales and aftersales service for all the Stellantis volume brands.
Zaheer Moola, Dealer Principal at Arnold Chatz Cars said: “At Arnold Chatz Cars we pride ourselves on providing an excellent customer experience, and we’re working hard to anticipate customer needs, so we’re thrilled to be representing the first complete Stellantis dealership.”
Fiat, Fiat Professional, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroën, Jeep, Opel and Peugeot clients in the West Rand and surrounds will now have access to a one-stop multi-franchise dealer facility under a well-known name in service and customer relationships excellence.
Arnold Chatz Cars will commence sales, service and parts amenities for the Citroën, Opel and Peugeot products on 1 July.
                                        The name tells the story – Basadi Automotive Group. Basadi, the Sesotho word for women, was chosen by a woman who, against all odds but with an unwavering belief in God, decided in 2018 or so to go it alone in the male-dominated automotive industry.
